R.C. Muhlbaier is an Elder in the Global Methodist Church, co-pastoring with his wife, Kate, at The Garden GMC in Muncie, IN. He serves on the Great Lakes Connectional Council as Multiplication Chair. R.C. holds master's degrees from Asbury Theological Seminary and Campbellsville University, and previously served as Associate Director of Leadership Development for the Indiana Conference.

Glenn Heistand has spent 30+ years leading complex civil engineering projects and managing federal flood hazard mapping initiatives. He also serves as governing board chair at New Horizon Church in Champaign, Illinois. Over the past year, Glenn has developed and tested AI tools alongside real church ministry, equipping members to grow deeper in faith and confidence in discipleship and evangelism.

Russell Williams and Rocio Reyes Williams co-lead Churros & Chocolate Faith Community, a bilingual, multicultural church in Southern Illinois. Rocio is an ordained Global Methodist pastor and chaplain with 18 years of pastoral ministry experience, originally from Mexico City. Russell is Founding Director of Ethos @ The Citadel and a certified John Maxwell coach and speaker. Together they are passionate about helping rural churches move from maintenance to multiplication.

What is a disciple, and how do we make one? This session will demystify the process of disciple-making and give you an evaluative tool to help you strengthen your teaching ministry.

Arthur Collins serves as Great Lakes Discipleship Chair and Presiding Elder of the Indiana South Central District. He received his first pastoral appointment in 1976, holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction, and is a Certified Consultant/Trainer in Church Growth. He has led training in Christian education and Scouting ministry for many years and was the lead writer of the GMC Candidacy Guidebook.

Arun Paul is an ordained elder in the Global Methodist Church with a Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies from Asbury Theological Seminary. He brings cross-cultural leadership experience from India, South Korea, and the USA, and is a licensed administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory. His research and ministry focus on cross-cultural evangelism, discipleship, and diaspora missiology.

He currently leads a weekly men's Bible study and serves on a volunteer mission team to Mexico.

Callie Best is an ordained elder in the Global Methodist Church and an endorsed Army chaplain currently serving as Operations Chaplain with the Army Reserve Aviation Command at Fort Knox. She also serves as pastor of Pleasant Ridge Church in Corydon, Indiana. Callie brings a perspective shaped by both congregational ministry and military service, with a passion for equipping disciples to multiply beyond the walls of the church.
Bob Phillips retired after 33 years as a Methodist chaplain in the U.S. Navy and served as Directing Pastor in Peoria, IL. He chairs the GMC's Ecclesiastical Endorsing Board and serves on the GLAC Board of Ministry. Bob has been published in The New York Times, Firebrand, and the Naval Institute Proceedings, and brings decades of experience equipping leaders to multiply disciples beyond traditional church settings.
